Life Palace stars

No major star sits in the Life Palace — the "empty Life Palace" (命无正曜). Character and fortune are shaped more by the borrowed stars of the triangle and by environment.

With no major star in the Life Palace, the ground note of your character is borrowed from the palace opposite. You are something of a mirror: your surroundings and the people near you shape you more deeply than they shape most.

This is not a weakness. People without a major star here tend to fit whatever shape a situation calls for, adapt readily, and find acceptance across very different circles. The whole art lies in choosing, deliberately, which room you stand in.
