What the star is

Tian Fu (天府) is Yang Earth and the principal star of the Southern Dipper, governing wealth and property. Its transformed quality is command, and it is commonly called the treasury or the marshalling star. Where Zi Wei opens new ground, Tian Fu holds what exists — managing, storing, and running well what is already there.

A treasury is only as good as what is in it. When Tian Fu meets Di Kong or Di Jie, or has no Lu star with it, the classical reading is an empty treasury: the talent for stewardship with nothing to steward, which tends to show as reputation outrunning substance. Checking whether Lu Cun or Hua Lu is present is the first thing to do with this star, not the last.

Temperament

Steady and broad-minded, hard to rattle, with the composure of a natural administrator. Coordinating resources and settling people tend to come easily. Living standards matter, and the general approach is conservative and practical.

The tendency worth watching is that preservation can shade into avoidance — holding position past the point where the situation asked for a move.

Career and wealth

The natural fit is finance, administration, supply chain and property — anywhere management and accumulation matter more than invention. Tian Fu is the steward-CEO: taking over something established suits it far better than building from nothing.

Wealth accrues rather than spikes. The characteristic risk is not loss but stagnation, where careful holding quietly becomes a ceiling.

Relationships

The attitude to partnership is practical and steady, with real weight on commitment and material security. Marriages tend to run long and calm; the thing to watch is that calm, given years, can stop being cultivated at all.
