Tian Tong (天同)

The Blessing Star · Yang Water · fortune

What the star is

Tian Tong (天同) is Yang Water, transformed into blessing, and it governs the Palace of Fortune and Virtue — the star of contentment. It stands for ease, harmony and enjoyment; its mood is mild and it avoids conflict.

Its blessing usually comes after the effort, not before it. Tian Tong charts often show a self-made path that is harder early and easier later. A measured dose of a harsh star can even help: the classical pattern "horse with an arrow" (马头带箭, Tian Tong with Qing Yang) turns comfort into achievement.

Temperament

Gentle, easy-going and big-hearted, with a feel for the pleasures of life. Usually well liked and emotionally intelligent, and rarely in open conflict with anyone.

The tendency to watch: contentment that becomes complacency, and a habit of stepping back when competition arrives. When ideals outrun action, the blessing star becomes a comfortable place to stay still.

Career and wealth

The fit is work built on experience and on bringing people together: services, education and culture, food and leisure, creative design. High-pressure, cut-throat environments suit it poorly; slow, steady accumulation suits it well.

Money is steady — "enough, with some left over". With auspicious transformations the later years tend to be comfortable.

Relationships

Affectionate, considerate and loyal to old bonds, with a real investment in home life. It can be soft-hearted to a fault, so boundaries need attention. Marriage tends towards stability, and a more driven partner can supply the momentum Tian Tong lacks.
