Po Jun (破军)

The Breaker · Yin Water · clearing before building

What the star is

Po Jun (破军) is Yin Water in the Northern Dipper and its transformed quality is expenditure. It is the most forceful of the Sha-Po-Lang (杀破狼) group: to break is to clear, and the star governs sweeping out the old to make room for the new.

Its expenditure is not simply loss. What gets consumed is the old arrangement, and what is bought with it is a new one. Charts with Po Jun in the Life Palace tend to have visible turning points — episodes that read as starting over, each of which is also a restart rather than only a break.

Temperament

Willing to act on an unconventional idea and to do the dismantling personally. There is a native resistance to inherited rules and a preference for taking things apart to understand them. Loyalty runs deep with the few people it settles on.

The tendency to watch is that clearing can become a habit — reaching for demolition where repair would have done.

Career and wealth

The fit is with reform and innovation, opening markets, construction and demolition, emerging technology — work whose premise is replacing something. With Lu present (Hua Lu or Lu Cun), the classical image is a warship with supplies: the enterprise can carry. Without it, effort outruns return.

Money moves in and out with the cycles of rebuilding, so the practical question is less how much arrives than what is left standing after each turn.

Relationships

Feeling runs hot and lands with impact; the intense beginning tends to be matched by a bumpy adjustment. Early marriage more often meets turbulence, while a Po Jun with some years behind it is often fiercely protective of a household.
